The Cabilla site brings together the beauty of rare and ancient nature, with a touch of quiet luxury. Our communal spaces are there to bring your Retreat group together over nourishing food or workshops, our Studios can be used for meditative practices – and treatments via The Pigsty Spa are the perfect way to unwind.

The Studios
We have a variety of indoor and outdoor multipurpose spaces that can be used for movement and meditation practices, plus meetings, workshops and group gatherings.
Indoor studios
In The Barns you’ll find The Studio: a bright, airy space that can be closed off from the rest of the communal area. A few fields’ walk away is The Hayloft – a cosier, more intimate space housed in a separate barn. Both of these indoor studios can be used for movement and meditation practices, or even as a meeting, or workshop space for Team Retreats.
Outdoor studios
In our ancient woodland, down by the River Bedalder, you’ll find our outdoor Rainforest Studio: this is the ideal space for yoga and meditation, plus sharing circles and sound baths to fully experience the restorative powers of nature.
The Pigsty Spa
Our holistic approach to wellness also includes a little self-indulgence. The Pigsty Spa was inspired by Cabilla’s very own Cornish Black Pig, Gloria – perhaps the most pampered pig in Cornwall, if not the world. She’s always being showered with love and backrubs by visitors, so we decided that we needed to provide similar levels of comfort and relaxation for our retreat guests.
We have worked with leading experts to create treatment experiences to deepen your levels of relaxation while on Retreat with us at Cabilla. The Spa is located a few fields away from The Barns in what was once the farm’s original pigsty (now given a luxury update) and treatments can also be arranged in the privacy of your own Koyt during your stay.
